Chinese Printer Brands - Market Study
Posted by Rob Errera on 05/01/2023
China is the global leader in printer and copier sales, generating approximately $2.3 billion in revenue in last year.
The country’s printer and copier market is expected to grow by 0.83% annually through 2028. 23.66 million printers and copiers will be distributed throughout China. Emerging Chinese brands are bringing changes to the market.
With China's printer and copier market showing consistent growth, we have decided to conduct a comprehensive study to analyze the trends, challenges, and opportunities within the industry.
The 3D Printer Market Explosion
Without question, the most significant emerging Chinese printer market is for 3-D printers. The 3-D printer market is expected to reach a value of approximately $50 billion by 2025, a far cry from a decade ago when the market value was just under $6 billion.
China and other Asian printer brands offer cheaper alternatives to costly 3-D printers marketed in North America.

The market for 3-D printers is still growing as new uses for this technology emerge. 3D printers are already used extensively in many industries, including construction, automotive, aerospace, and medical technology. As unique needs arise, the market will continue to grow and specialize.
Emerging Chinese 3D Printer Brands
- Anycubic: a range of affordable 3D printers for both professionals and beginners.
- Creality: Offers a wide range of 3D printers with different printing sizes and capabilities.
- Tronxy: fused deposition modeling (FDM) and stereolithography (SLA) 3D printers.
- Geeetech: FDM, Delta, and SLA 3D printers.
- FlashForge: a range of 3D printers, including FDM, SLA, and SLS (selective layer sintering).
It's worth noting that while these brands are considered "emerging" in North America, they have been around for several years and have already gained a significant market share in China and other countries.
However, they may still need to achieve a different level of recognition or reputation than more established brands in the global market.
